Causes And Elimination Methods Of Black Smoke Emission From Diesel Engine Cranes

Time:2020-07-27
The black exhaust from the diesel engine crane indicates that the diesel is not completely burned. It includes continuous black smoke emission and intermittent black smoke emission. So, what is the main reason for the black smoke emitted by diesel engine cranes? The following are three points and troubleshooting methods summarized by Shandong China Coal Group.

the first. Low compression pressure of hydraulic crane cylinder

1. The compression ratio of the small agricultural diesel engine crane is adjusted too small during assembly, so the compression force of the assembled diesel engine is often lower than 25MPA, and black smoke in the exhaust gas will appear.

2. After installing the fuel injector, the air leakage between the cylinder head and the cylinder liner of the Jining diesel engine crane is not compressed.

3. The wear of the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner of the small diesel engine crane exceeds the limit, which causes the compressed air in the cylinder to leak into the crankcase and reduces the compression pressure of the cylinder.

4. When assembling the piston rings of a small diesel engine crane, the openings of these rings cannot be staggered, or the piston ring is broken and stuck in the ring groove, etc., which will cause the cylinder to leak.

5. Normally, the valve rod is bent, the spring is broken, and the valve seat ring becomes loose and falls off, causing air leakage in the cylinder.

6. Due to the excessive adjustment of the valve clearance or excessive wear of the valve bridge, the insufficient valve opening affects the fresh air entering the cylinder or the exhaust gas in the cylinder.

7. The temperature of the oil and water of the small diesel engine crane is too low, so the gap between the cylinder liner and the piston is too large, resulting in air leakage.

The low compression force of the cylinder causes black smoke to be emitted, which is mainly due to the low compression pressure which causes the mixture of diesel and air to not fully burn in the combustion chamber of the diesel engine. Therefore, the common faults that cause black smoke should be eliminated one by one, such as eliminating valve closing, adjusting valve clearance, adjusting injection pressure and injector atomization, replacing piston rings or adjusting relative positions. Between the openings. 3. Replace worn cylinder liners to eliminate cylinder leakage.
