Demand Analysis of Safety Monitoring System for Long Boom Crane

Time:2018-08-29

The crane hoisting safety monitoring system is a safety protection device specially designed for the change of the lifting torque of the boom during the operation of the long boom crane. The system uses the measurement method of the variable amplitude oil rainbow force. Under the premise of fixed boom length, the actual hoisting weight of the crane is determined according to the working angle of the boom and the pressure of the variable oil rainbow. Therefore, it is necessary to collect the two key data of the working angle of the boom and the pressure of the variable oil in real time.

The application environment of the crane hoisting safety monitoring system is harsh, and the monitoring requirements during the operation of the long jib crane are timely and accurate, which means that the system has high anti-interference and real-time requirements. In addition, all important data of the crane during the operation process need to be reflected to the operator in time to assist the operator to complete the lifting operation safely. For situations such as overloading, it is required to be able to record the current abnormal work data in time to facilitate fault analysis and maintenance. Furthermore, the system should have basic functions such as communication with the host computer to facilitate the processing and archiving of monitoring data. Therefore, strict selection and design must be performed from the processor, operating system, data display, storage, and communication to meet the above functional requirements.

The crane hoisting safety monitoring system is designed to be “safe”. In addition to ensuring the safety of the crane during normal operation, it is more the auxiliary control of the crane during abnormal operation. Therefore, alarm and autonomous braking functions should also be included in the scope of development.
