The Development And Use Of Shotcrete Machines

Time:2017-01-05

Shotcrete Machine(dry-mix shotcrete) was commercially developed after the World War II but was not in general use until the 1970s. The concrete mix is supplied in the wet form and is pumped to the spraying nozzle where air is added to project the concrete onto the substrate. The use of accelerators added at the nozzle can assist in applying the concrete in overhead situations or to increase early strengths gain requirements in ground support and tunnelling.
Shotcrete machine are designed to pump most types of cementitious grouts (not recommended for chemical epoxy-type grouts). These shotcrete machine are ideal for grouting hollow metal door frames in place as well as placing grout anywhere that high pressure is not required. Other applications include masonry restoration, fireproofing, soil stabilization, filling concrete block, installing ,splice sleeves, waterproofing, tunnels, prison & jail construction, facility maintenance, parking structures, bridge repair, pumping cement slurries and general filling of voids.
Shotcrete Machine is a single piston double-acting machine with hydraulic drive, which is a universal high-pressure shotcrete machine and is used for grouting in soil, earth foundation stabilization, waterproofing, tunnel lining, underwater foundations , bridge decks , deep well casing, slope line grouting, etc.
Sprayed concrete is an ideal material of constructing freeform structures. It has the ability to form curved shapes without the need for complicated and expensive formwork, and thus is commonly used in the construction of canoe slaloms, skate parks, climbing walls, sculptures and imitation rockwork.
